Speaker Bio

Mark is an entrepreneur, podcast host, goal-accelerator program leader, and social experimenter who wants to re-invent the way we support and connect with one another.

What’s your idea worth spreading?
In a world where the average person checks their phone over 85 times per day, it’s not our phones that are the problem, it’s the way we currently choose to use them.  We have the whole world in our hands, and if we took better advantage of the technology that’s already available to us, it would open up a new world of possibilities, unlock unprecedented levels of partnership & support to manifest our hopes and dreams, and ultimately transform our world.

What is a significant accomplishment, and why is that important to you?
Leaving my 12 year career & 6-figure job at Showtime Networks to launch The One & Only Podcast and Winning Weeks (my 8-week Goal & Growth Accelerator Program for high achievers). Over the last 2 years, I feel incredibly humbled and blessed to have released over 125 episodes of my podcast (I haven’t missed a week!), supported hundreds of people in accomplishing their goals, and spoken at dozens of events for thousands of people.  It’s taught me that not only am I capable of accomplishing my goals and dreams, but when I’m living authentically and in service to others, it not only feels good, but creates a ripple effect that positively benefits others.

What are you passionate about?
When I get super excited, I jump up and down repeatedly, do a happy dance, or cry. Here are some things that light me up and keep me vibing for hours.  1) Spending quality time with friends and family, and supporting those I love…You can always sign-me up for a meaningful experience and/or a deep conversation.  2) My favorite subjects to rap about in conversation are community, social impact, personal development, and anything that involves vulnerability.  3) I also LOVE music, dance, hats and hot sauce!

What do you want people to take away from your TEDx talk?
If you are going to be on your phone 5+ hours per day, you may as well be in the driver’s seat, and use your phone in a way that serves your relationships, helps you accomplish your greatest goals, and empowers you to stand for what you believe-in in the most impactful way.
